Medium – Balthazar Getty to Guest
Balthazar Getty may be leaving “Brothers & Sisters” for a while, but he won’t be leaving your TV screen.
Getty is set to guest-star on an episode of NBC’s “Medium” later this season. The episode, which series star Patricia Arquette is directing, will also feature Rumer Willis and a returning Anjelica Huston, People reports.
Huston, who appeared in several episodes last season, will reprise her role as private investigator Cynthia Keener, who’s now serving a prison sentence for murdering her daughter’s killer. She tries to contact Allison DuBuois (Arquette) when a friend, played by Willis, goes missing.
Getty, meanwhile, will play a wealthy man who asks Allison to help investigate the disappearance of his wife. He’s free to do the “Medium” appearance because his “Brothers & Sisters” character is being written out for a time, though he’s expected to return to the ABC show next season.
